CHASSIS
Frame: Factory F100 chassis modified with custom built centre k-member, 6
inch c-notch at rear with kick up.
Suspension: Heidt's Classic Truck Superide independent front end with tubular
control arms and adjustable coil over shocks. Rear end is four-link with adjustable coil overs.
Brakes: Wilwood four piston polished callipers on the front with Ford disc brakes on the rear. Wilwood dual circuit master cylinder bolted up to a chrome plated 8-inch dual diaphragm firewall mounted booster.
Steering: Flaming River tilt steering column with Billet Specialties wheel, Heidt's power steering rack and pinion.
Wheels: DTM Boss alloys, 20x10 on the rear and 20x9 on the front.
Tyres: Falken 275/45 and 235/45 respectively. Wheels and tyres from Todd at Tremaine Tyres & Wheels in Palmy North.
DRIVETRAIN
Engine: 5.4 litre 260 Boss Quad Cam, front facing plenum intake, twin 60mm throttle body, Link computer, electronic fuel injection. Custom built headers by Warrick flow through a dual system all HPC-coated in black. BA Falcon radiator, coil covers painted in Subaru blue by Xile Speed & Custom.
Gearbox: 4R7OW four-stage automatic, custom fabricated shifter by Warrick George.
Rear end: 9-inch Ford with all new axles.
INSIDE AND OUT
Body and paint: 1979 F100 cab, original flat deck replaced with tubbed pick-up bed with a custom rolled pan and deck lid. Panels massaged and sprayed in Subaru blue using a two-pack system and three coats of clear by Steve Forrest at Xile Speed & Custom, who also took care of the custom Boss graphics. All new bumpers, grille and trim, badges etcetera, by LMC
Trucks in the USA. Halogen headlights, and LED taillights.
Interior: Warrick widened the factory seat. New foam cut, and the seat trimmed (along with the rest of the interior) by Classic & Custom Motor Trimmers Palmerston North. Custom fabricated dash housing mounted into a new dash panel and equipped with Dakota Digital gauges. Custom door panels with electric windows fitted, along with Vintage Air air conditioning.
Audio: Dash mounted head unit with reversing camera, 6-inch component speakers mounted up front with sub and amp mounted behind the bench seat.
